Admission Requirements

With three program starts a year and seats available now, Mercer’s Accelerated BSN program offers you an opportunity to leverage your non-nursing bachelor's degree and earn your nursing degree in as few as 12 months. Before that can happen, you must fit the qualifications needed to apply to our program.

To be considered for admissions to Mercer’s accelerated nursing program, you will need to:

  • Complete the prerequisites for the program prior to enrollment.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 or higher (including a 3.0 GPA for all science courses).
  • Submit a resume and admissions essay.
  • Earn a minimum composite score of 76 on the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).
  • Satisfactorily complete the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), if applicable.
